US ready to meet Russia over issue of Nuclear Arms Control

Washington, Oct 20 (UNI) US on Tuesday appreciated Russia's willingness to finalize a nuclear arms control agreement and said that it is prepared to meet 'immediately'.
"We appreciate the Russian Federation’s willingness to make progress on the issue of nuclear arms control. The United States is prepared to meet immediately to finalize a verifiable agreement. We expect Russia to empower its diplomats to do the same", US State Department spokesperson Morgan Ortagus said.
