Maharashtra HSC, SSC repeater exam from November 20

MUMBAI: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will conduct the repeat examination of class X (SSC) and XII (HSC) between November 20 and December 10. The practical and oral examinations would begin on November 18.
While the SSC exams will conclude on December 5, the HSC exams will go on till December 10. A detailed timetable for the exams is available on the boards website www.mahahsscboard.in.
Students can submit the online forms from October 20 to 29 without late fee and from October 30 to November 2, with late fee. The forms are open for regular students, repeater students, private students and students who want to apply in the class improvement scheme. Students who wish to apply in class improvement scheme will get two opportunities i.e. in the November-December exam 2020 and the February-March exam 2021.
This year, about 7% of the 18 lakh SSC students in the state did not clear the exam and 13% of the 15 lakh HSC students did not pass. The board each year conducts re-examination right after the announcement of results giving students a second chance to join their peers for the next academic session without waiting a whole year.
