Former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant Adam Pasha arrested by NCB
In a new twist to the ongoing drug probe that links showbiz and nightlife industries with drug abuse, former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant, drag queen and dancer Adam Pasha has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau, Bengaluru. He is alleged to have purchased drugs from peddler Anika D, who is a television actress and was arrested in August and it was following that arrest that the drug scandal gained momentum. Adam had previously stated he knew Anika but never had bought anything from her. Television reports suggest that the NCB officials have confirmed that Adam had allegedly purchased contraband multiple times from Anika and was in touch with her. The former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant's name had cropped up a few times in speculation about his association with Anika. But Adam had given television and media interviews stating that all those speculations are all false and there was no connection between him and drug abuse. This arrest comes as a shock after that. Adam has been remanded to judicial custody till November 3.

Adam gained popularity as a dancer and an international drag queen pageant winner. He was then selected for Bigg Boss Kannada where he won a lot of fans and following for his honest behaviour in the house. He also took part in a dance reality show after that.

Adam also is a popular name in the nightlife scene on Bengaluru and he used to host events at city hotspots. He recently took up a role as an ambassador with a royal name from the LGBTQIA community.

Adam is not the first name to be arrested in the ongoing scandal. Actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani have also been arrested, though in another case that is being investigated by the Central Crime Branch Bengaluru.
