Heavy to very heavy rain likely to occur in AP: Met

Hyderabad, Oct 20 (UNI) Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on October 21 and 22, Meteorological Centre said on Tuesday.
In a bulletin here, it said that heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next three days, in East Godavari, West Godavari districts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours & on October 23 and in Kurnool district of Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours.
Thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next five days, in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next four days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at most places or at many places or at a few places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days, the bulletin said.
Southwest Monsoon has been active in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
Rain occurred in most places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and many places in Telangana and Rayalaseema during the same period, the bulletin added.
