Daler Mehendi shoots for song in Delhi-NCR

New Delhi, Oct 20 (UNI) After a brief lull due to the Covid pandemic, shooting for television shows and songs in the film city of Noida is slowly returning to normalcy with filmmakers and television producers scheduling the shoots of their ventures.

Renowned singer Daler Mehendi and actress Kavita Tripathi shot for their upcoming song 'Mamla Gadbad Hai' from the upcoming feature film Shatranj at the Noida film city from Monday.

Daler Mehendi and actress Kavita Tripathi were spotted shooting for the song on Monday in a studio in Noida.

A part of the song will be shot in Ghaziabad.

On the occasion producers- Anand Prakash and Mrinalni Singh, Director – Dushyant Pratap, Singer - Daler Mehendi and Actress - KavitaTripathi also addressed the press.

Praising the facilities in the Noida film city, Director Dushyant called for expansion of the film city to facilitate the shooting of cinematic ventures.

“Noida must have a Film city for shooting purposes. Now almost every state has its own film city. Now it’s necessary that a film city should be built in Noida for smooth movie shootings,' he said.

'Shatranj' is an upcoming Suspense thriller and will most probably be released this year in theatres.

The movie’s shooting is in full swing.

TV actor Hiten Tejwani will be playing a lead role along with Kavita Tripathi in the movie.

The film is produced under the Anand Motion Pictures banner.
