    Gold futures ease on low demand

    Synopsis

    The yellow metal for February delivery eased by Rs 84, or 0.17 per cent, to Rs 50,660 per 10 gram in 1,402 lots.

    Gold was trading 0.44 per cent down at USD 1,903.20 per ounce in New York.
    New Delhi: Gold futures on Tuesday fell by 0.23 per cent to Rs 50,570 per 10 gram as participants offloaded their holdings on low spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold prices for December delivery declined by Rs 117, or 0.23 per cent, to Rs 50,570 per 10 gram in a business turnover of 14,026 lots.
