Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath expressed satisfaction over the decrease in the number of Kovid infected patients by 37 thousand and directed the officials to maintain an effective system of prevention and treatment for this disease. The Chief Minister was reviewing the unlocked system at a high-level meeting convened at his government residence here today. He said that better contact tracing, surveillance work, and awareness is a strong link to control the spread of COVID-19.
He said that special vigilance should be taken under Kovid-19 in Lucknow district. He instructed that the district administration and health department should improve the recovery rate by making regular communication with all the Kovid hospitals. He said that specialist medical consultations should be provided to the L-3 Kovid Hospitals by SGPGI and L-2 Kovid Hospitals by KGMU through virtual ICUs. He directed the Integrated Command and Control Center to be operated with full vigor and said that ambulance services should be effectively operated.
Secretary Chief Minister Shri Alok Kumar, Information Director Shishir, and other senior officials were present.
