Rajasthan: Two crore robbery cases exposed, seven accused arrested

The police have arrested seven accused, revealing a case of robbery of two crores held by a businessman in Kanod town of Udaipur district in Rajasthan. District Superintendent of Police Kailash Vishnoi told here today that on the night of October 13, Sohanlal Kothari, a resident of Kanod, was taken hostage and escaped after robbing one and a half kg Sarvana jewelery, 190 kg silver and a cash of Rs 1.75 lakh.


The police formed a research team after the incident was reported. After research, the police team arrested seven accused, including Suresh Dangi, a resident of Grassa of Mavli tehsil in Balsad, after raiding them. The police have recovered half a kilogram of gold, one lakh 70 thousand cash and 190 kg silver from the accused. Police is investigating the case.
