Shivraj Singh Chouhan (left) and CM Kamal Nath

Bhopal: PCC chief Kamal Nath accused Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan of creating an unnecessary fuss over the ‘item’ remark. Nath claimed that he never made any derogatory comment on the woman leader at his Dabra public meeting. Nath went on to attack BJP government stating that for last 15 years MP has been on the top in crime against women and in the last seven months the cases of rape and women exploitation have increased.

He questioned Chohan for maintaining silence on Hathras case, on Chinmayanand. Why did he (Chouhan) keep quite on BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar issue and keep mum when in his own home state woman in Rewa accused the cops of gang rape, asked the Congress leader .

The minister Imarti Devi broke down while talking to the media over the issue. She described Nath as a ‘mad man’ said that he does not respect women of Madhya Pradesh, because he came from Bengal. The BJP leader claimed that she is being victimised as she belongs to Dalit and poor family, and this has given a chance to people to make such comment on her.
