Royal Challengers Bangalore legspinner Yuzvendra Chahal is widely known for his animated behaviour on social media. Only recently, he got involved in a Twitter banter with former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh. The veteran, who had smashed three consecutive sixes off Chahal while playing for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2019, tweeted his prediction as to who would qualify for the playoffs and play the final, without RCB’s mention it.

As the match between Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians was underway, Yuvraj Singh praised Nicholas Pooran for his quickfire batting and also went on to predict that KXIP would make it to the final with either Mumbai Indians or Delhi Capitals.

Here’s how the conversation went:

“Looks like tonight’s game changer is going to be @nicholas_47! Beautiful flow of the bat ! So amazing to watch ! Reminds me of someone I live within Grinning face ! Game on ! My prediction I feel @kxip will go all way to playoffs and play the finals along with @mipaltan or @DelhiCapitals”: Yuvraj Singh tweeted in appreciation of Nicholas Pooran.

‘Bhaiya Hum india aajaye wapis? [Brother, what do we do then? Fly back to India?]’: Chahal wrote, as a response.

‘Abhi thodey aur chakey kha ke aur wickets let ke aana [Come back, not yet, only after getting hit for some boundaries and sixes and bagging some wickets in the IPL’: Yuvraj added to the friendly banter.

‘Ok bhaiya 10th November Tak wickets or kha leta Hun sixes Ghost [Okay, brother. I shall do all of that till November 10 (implying IPL final day)’: Chahal refused to give up.

‘Bilkul ! Final zaroor dekh kar aana [Absolutely! Come back only after watching the final]: Yuvraj left Chahal speechless.

It was evident that the seasoned legspinner was left speechless by the senior cricketer and during the Indian Premier League time, banter lives on!

Even veteran pacer Irfan Pathan couldn't help but react to the epic Twitter banter between the two hilarious Y's of Indian cricket.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challangers Bangalore have taken the top 3 three spots in the IPL points table. Kings XI Punjab, with the historic Super Over win, did jump up two places to the 6th spot, but are still in a tricky situation to the make it to the playoffs.
