Tamil Nadu has registered 3,536 new coronavirus cases on Monday, according to the state's health department. The total tally in the state has increased to 6,90,936.
The state recorded 49 Covid-19 fatalities today. The overall death toll has increased to 10,691 in Tamil Nadu.
On the positive side, 4,515 patients were recovered and discharged from various hospitals in state today
Chennai city saw 885 fresh Covid cases today, while other districts registered 2,651 new infections.
