Jammu and Kashmir: CRPF man injured in terror attack in Pulwama

This is the second attack of militants in district Pulwama in consecutive two days. On Sunday, terrorists lobbed a grenade at security forces, injuring a CRPF jawan and a civilian.

A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper was injured after terrorists opened fire at a joint team of security forces near the Gangoo area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district on Monday morning.

The injured jawan was shifted to a local hospital for treatment where he is said to be stable. Jammu and Kashmir police said that terrorists opened fire at the CRPF personnel when they were on regular duty. 

The area was been cordoned off immediately after the incident.

The terrorists threw a grenade upon the CRPF personnel near Tral bus stand in Pulwama district of south Kashmir, a police official said.
