18 cyber criminals nabbed by Deoghar police

Deoghar, Oct 19 (UNI) The district police has arrested 18 cyber criminals from different police station areas.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, Deoghar SP Ashwini Kumar Sinha said that he had received a tip off regarding the presence of cyber criminals, after which two special teams of cyber police along with members of concerned police stations were included.
He said that the first team led by DSP Mangal Singh Jamuda arrested 10 cyber criminals from Sukhjora and Gobrasla village from Sarath Police Station area, while another team led by SDPO Amod Narayan Singh caught eight criminals from Dumaria, Tendri and Malmala villages.
From the arrested criminals 43 mobile phones, 54 fake sim cards, 32 pass books, 14 ATM cards, 5 cheque books, a laptop, Rs 96,000 in cash, a motorcycle and a car have been also recovered.
