BHOPAL: Even as the corona cases see a decline in most of the districts, Sagar, Sidhi, Balaghat are among the exceptions. Sagar witnessed corona explosion as 54 new cases surfaced on Monday, similarly 43 more people have been tested positive in Sidhi and 39 in Balaghat on the day.
The corona positivity rate also made an upward shift recording 4.7 per cent, while a day previous, it was 4.1 per cent.
The state on Monday reported 1,015 fresh coronavirus cases, which pushed its caseload to 1,61,203, while 13 fatalities took the death toll to 2,786, a health official said. 1,287 patients were discharged from hospitals since Sunday evening, taking the state's recovery count to 1,45,421. The number of active cases stands at 12996.
Three patients died in Bhopal, two each in Indore and Gwalior and one each in Jabalpur, Dhar, Damoh, Harda, Sheopur and Burhanpur, said officials. Indore accounts for 31804 positive cases and 659 deaths, followed by Bhopal with 22560 cases and toll to 451 deaths.
Ujjain reports 3403 positive cases with 97 deaths. Burhanpur recorded 776 while Neemuch has 2305 positives. Khandwa accounts for 1720 positive cases, and Khargone’s corona tally stands at 3750. Jabalpur recorded 12190 cases. Morena recorded 2721 cases while Mandsaur has 1948 cases and Dhar has recorded 2653 cases. Dewas has reported 1807 Cases.
