Bigg Boss 14 airs on Colors TV. (Photo: PR Handout)The house of Bigg Boss 14 took no time to turn into a battle zone. By the end of its second week, we could see how each contestant is vying for the confirmed position in the house, which so far has been won by only Nikki Tamboli.
Bigg Boss 14 premiered on October 3 with a dozen celebrity contestants. Introducing a fresh format, the makers roped in three former champions Gauahar Khan, Hina Khan and Sidharth Shukla as ‘Toofani Seniors’ to mentor the ‘Fresher’ batch. During the launch, they decided which housemate they wanted to accept and reject, and even got them to do some tasks in order to get an entry in the main house. And after 14 days, these seniors will choose which contestants get to go ahead in the game. They even picked Sara Gurpal as the first housemate to get evicted in the show’s first week, leaving fans and freshers shocked.

Sara’s surprise eviction left the entire house shook, with many realising that they need to pull up their socks and put their best foot forward in the show, in order to stay in the game. Host Salman Khan, on Sunday’s Weekend Ka Vaar, announced that Abhinav Shukla, Shehzad Deol and Jaan Kumar Sanu are in the bottom three, leaving Jasmin Bhasin and Rubina Dilaik safe from the dagger of eviction. The other safe contestants include Nikki Tamboli, Eijaz Khan, Rahul Vaidya, Pavitra Punia and Nishant Singh Malkani.
Today. Gauahar Khan will claim Sidharth Shukla’s team broke the rules of the task. Hina and Gauahar will request Bigg Boss to intervene.
Soon, Bigg Boss will call all the seniors to the theatre room where Hina, Gauahar and Sidharth end up having a heated debate.
In a conversation with Karan Wahi on Voot's Bigg Buzz, Gautam Gulati spoke about Sara Gurpal's eviction. He said, "She shouldn’t have been evicted. She was doing better than the boys. She was being seen more in the show and should have stayed back.” Gautam said instead of Sara, Nishant Singh Malkani should have been evicted.
Nishant Malkhani says that he tried his hands on cooking before entering the house and he felt that the entire process is quite theraupetic.
During a chat with Nishant Singh Malkani, Jaan Kumar Sanu recalled how he felt about sharing the stage with Salman Khan. Jaan said Salman has an "overwhelming" personality. The singer said he was extremely nervous but also could not believe that he is sharing the stage with the superstar. "Mereko inta stress tha (I was so stressed), I’m sharing the stage with Salman Khan! He’s standing and talking to me, oh my god. My heartbeat was so high, mujhe laga mein mar jaunga! (I thought I would die)," he said.

In a video shared by Colors TV, Sidharth Shukla is seen planning with his team members Eijaz Khan, Pavitra Punia and Nikki Tamboli. Sidharth tells to not be scared and give their best in the task. Nikki suggests the team to target Jaan Kumar Sanu, who is in Gauahar Khan's team. She says he is the weakest in terms of physical strength.
In a video, Gauahar Khan tells housemates that if more than two members of a team are chasing the opponent, they will be disqualified in response to which Sidharth Shukla says, "everything is fair in love and war."
In today's task, Bigg Boss house will get divided into three teams - Hina Khan's team, Sidharth Shukla's team and Gauahar Khan's team. Each team will be asked to safeguard their respective buzzer. Only two members of the other team can attack their opponent at a time. In a video shared by Colors TV, we see Gauahar screaming that Sidharth's team cheated and had more than two members trying to press her team's buzzer. What will happen next?
Producer Vikaas Kalantri appreciated Gauahar Khan in a tweet. He wrote, "I love the grace and maturity of @GAUAHAR_KHAN. She is just the calm amongst the storm. Always puts in the right points"
In a task given to Jaan Kumar Sanu and Rahul Vaidya, Gauahar Khan was seen enjoying the most in the Bigg Boss house.
@tanu_gupta80 appreciated Hina Khan calling her "well balanced and considerate" mentor. In a tweet, the fan mentioned, "Hina was selected by most of the freshers, enough to say, loud and clear ..Hina is best mentor in house, she is strong, clear , appreciates pple, strong, and well balanced and considerate ...so proud of u love #SherrKhan u rocked again"
In today's episode, the housemates will be fighting against each other to continue their journey in Bigg Boss season 14.
Ex-Bigg Boss contestant Puneesh Sharma supported Shehzad Deol calling the housemates decision to give him the "Gayab" title as unfair. He tweeted, "What happened with @DeolShehzad is unfair. #JaanKumarSanu should have been Gayab."
The Toofani Seniors teased Eijaz for his adulation for Tabu.

Before entering Bigg Boss 14 house, Nishant Singh Malkani told indianexpress.com, "I did watch the last season a lot and really enjoyed Asim Riaz’s journey. He came as an underdog and managed to make his mark. And I think this because he was so real on the show. He was called chamcha, but he never broke his friendship with Sidharth Shukla. It was only when he felt he was wrong, he went against him, and took him head on. Asim could do that because he was true on the show, and knew he was also right. I look up to him as one of my favourites and feel that we are similar people."
