Body of missing CA, grilled by EOW in multi-crore scam, found on railway tracks in Thane

Thane, Oct 18 (UNI) The body of a chartered accountant who went missing on October 11 from the city, has been found lying on the railway tracks near Kalyan town in the district.
On the fateful day, the deceased, Sagar Deshpande, left the house in his car informing his family that he was going to Titwala and never returned, following which his family members filed a missing person complaint with the Naupada police of Thane city, police said today.
His body was found on the tracks next day between Titwala and Khadavali railway stations.
After the GRP published the picture of the deceased, the same was identified by the Naupada police, sources added.
The 38-year-old CA was grilled by the Economic Offences Wing in connection with the multi-crore scam. He worked with Cox & Kings for 10 years.
