Hyderabad: Peerzadiguda tops rain chart with 18 cm rainfall in 24 hours

The weather warning with Meteorological Department, Hyderabad suggested heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur across Telangana.

Hyderabad: Peerzadiguda in the city received highest rainfall of 18 cm between 8 am on Saturday to 8 am on Sunday.

Heavy rains that returned to lash the city after a break of two days, also had Nagole recording 17.2 cm followed by Saroornagar (17 cm), LB Nagar (16.9 cm) and Bandlaguda (16.3 cm), according to Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS).

The weather warning with Meteorological Department, Hyderabad suggested heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur across Telangana.

As per impact based weather forecast with Met. Department, there could be water pooling on roads and low lying areas in many places of the city on Sunday. There is also a possibility of wet and slippery roads along with drainage clogging, it added.
