Assam COVID tally crosses 2 lakh

Guwahati, Oct 18 (UNI) The COVID 19 tally in Assam has breached 2 lakh while the number of recovered patients also continued to increase steadily.
The overall COVID 19 in the state has reached 2,00,391 with detection of 642 new cases in the last 24 hours.
The positivity rate remained below 2%.
The number of recovered patients has increased to 1,71,081, which forms over 85% of detected patients.
The death toll has risen to 868 as 15 more COVID 19 deaths were confirmed since yesterday.
The active COVID 19 positive caseload in the state remained over 28,000.
