Armenian Defense Ministry's spokeswoman Stepanyan says Azerbaijan violated ceasefire

YEREVAN, Oct 18 (Sputnik) Azerbaijan has violated the humanitarian ceasefire in the troubled Nagorno-Karabakh region, Armenian Defense Ministry's spokeswoman Shushan Stepanyan said.
"Once again violating the humanitarian ceasefire, the enemy fired artillery shells in the northern direction from 00:04 to 02:45 [from 20:04 to 22:45 GMT on Saturday], and fired rockets in the southern direction from 02:20 to 02:45," Stepanyan wrote on Twitter in the early hours of Sunday.
Shortly before, Stepanyan wrote on her Telegram channel that the situation along the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh was calm as the ceasefire came into force.
The new Yerevan-Baku ceasefire came into force at midnight local time on Saturday (20:00 GMT). Spokesperson of the president of the unrecognized Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh republic), Vahram Poghosyan, said on Facebook shortly after the ceasefire took effect that the situation along the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh was calm.
There has been no reaction from Baku so far.
