Gurgaon: A mutilated body of a man was found stuffed in two plastic bags in an under construction building in Ashok Vihar on Friday. The police said that the body was cut into two parts and stuffed in two plastic bags. “The deceased had tattoos on his right hand and cut marks on his neck and shoulder,” a police officer told TOI.
Sahib Kalra, a resident of Sector 81, had informed police about the body. Kalra was in his office when one of his employees alerted him around 7.50am about the two plastic bags at an under construction building that was emitting foul smell. They building is located close to his office.
“We reached at the spot to check what was wrong and found the place stinking. One of the plastic bags was open. We went closer to check and spotted a human hand. We immediately called the police control room,” Kalra said.
Police reached the spot with a forensic team and looked into the bags. They found that the body was cut in two parts from the waist with a sharp object. The man had two tattoos on his right hand -- “Sandeep” and “Om” written in Hindi, police added.
“The body had injury marks on the neck and shoulder and it seems he was killed with some sharp object and later his body was cut to stuff in a plastic bag. Both legs of the deceased were fractured, it might have been broken to stuff inside the bag,” ACP Ashok Kumar said, adding that their team is scanning CCTV footage for leads.
