Maratha organisation activists demonstrate for their various demands in front of Maha Minister's residence in Nanded

Nanded, Oct 15 (UNI) The activists of the Swabhimani Sambhaji Brigade, a Maratha youth organisation, and the Sakal Maratha Samaj on Thursday staged a demonstration in front of the residence of the Maharashtra and District Guardian Minister Ashok Chavan, to press for their various demands including to grant reservation to the community in education and jobs.
Their various demands included the state government should issue a new order to grant the reservation till final verdict of the Supreme Court comes, to convene a two-day special session of the state Assembly for this purpose, to re-start the 'Sarathi' Institute and to issue a fund of Rs 1,000 crore to the institute.
The agitation was led by the regional president of the organisation Madhav Devsarkar.
