Durfee field hockey shines on Senior Night as Hutchinson posts shutout

FALL RIVER — Durfee field hockey rose to the occasion.

On their Senior Night, the Hilltoppers (1-2) defeated Bridgewater-Raynham Regional 2-0 in their pod game at Durfee. This was the only game this season where fans were allowed on campus to watch the game. Due to COVID-19-elated concerns, fans from the six-team pod are generally not allowed to attend events.

Sophomore Kayleigh Hutchinson posted a 10-save shutout.

Senior Abbey Strollo had a goal and an assist and freshman Toni Freitas also scored.
