A KZN cop has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife's lover.

A 39-year-old police officer from Ceza in KwaZulu-Natal was arrested on Thursday for allegedly killing his wife's lover.
According to Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) spokesperson Ndileka Cola, the 47-year-old deceased was allegedly having an affair with the wife of the police officer.
"The suspect has been detained and he is facing charges of murder. His first court appearance will be [on Friday] at the Mahlabathini Magistrate's Court.
Cola said IPID was still investigating the case.
