BSU theatre staging 'Antigone'

BRIDGEWATER — The performing arts at Bridgewater State University are finding a safe and creative way to continue bringing the arts to the community. The Theater Department is presenting a new adaptation of the classic Greek tragedy, Antigone - with a new name, new outlook, and new technology! Antigone Ablaze broadcasts exclusively online Oct. 23 - 31. Later in the semester "The Totalitarians," a dark comedy about modern political discourse, broadcasts in the same format, Nov. 19 - 22. The Dance Department prepares for their annual seasonal show, WinterDance. With the new challenges COVID-19 has presented, the dance company is recording their performance and premiering it online at www.bridgew.edu in December.
