Highest number of NEET qualifying candidates from Tripura, followed by Maharashtra
A total of 7,71,500 candidates have qualified the exam for which over 13.66 lakh candidates had appeared. The highest number of qualifying candidates are from Tripura (88,889) followed by Maharashtra (79,974). (PTI)
NEET 2020 cut-off scores released
NTA has released NEET cut-off scores along with the results.
“There is no doctor in my family, so I didn't expect this. I had hoped to make it to top 100 or top 50 but I never expected to score 720/720. The exam was being postponed, so there was a lot of pressure. But the goal was to stay calm & utilise time,” says Soyeb Aftab, NEET2020 topper (ANI)
Information regarding 15% All India Quota Seats
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India will conduct the Counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats, Deemed Universities, Central Universities, Seats of ESIC and AFMC, BHU & AMU. Candidates may visit the website www.mcc.nic.in for further information. Candidates will apply for 15% All India Quota seats as per the directions of DGHS and Counselling will be stopped once the seats are exhausted. The details and schedule of counselling would be available on the websites of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Directorates of States.

Union education minister announces NEET result 2020
Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' took to Tweeter to thank NTA and state CMs for successfully conducting NEET exam this year. "I thank @DG_NTA for giving a new cohort of Doctors this year. Exams were conducted during "testing" times and the spirit of Cooperative Federalism was clearly visible. I thank all the Chief Ministers for the same," he tweeted.
