On the information of CID Crime Branch, Chittorgarh Police on Friday recovered 129 kg of Doda powder, 2 kg of 300 grams of opium. The drug was stuffed and kept hidden in the bags of Vimal gutkha. Police have also arrested two smugglers. Smugglers' cars have also been seized.
IG (Crime) Vijay Kumar Singh said that the arrested smuggler Bhairon Lal Meena (32) is a resident of Shahpura Bhilwara and Shambhulal Dhakad resident of Ghatabav police station Parsoli district Chittorgarh.
The crime branch's DSP Suryavir Singh had informed the Parsoli police station officer. On this, the police team raided Shambhu Lal's house in Ghatabav. Shankar Lal, Shobhalal Dhakad, and Nanalal Dhak escaped from the spot. A car of Shobhalal Dhakad has been recovered from the spot.
