Nagaland by-poll: 5 candidates for Pungro-Kiphire Assy seat

Kohima Oct 16 (UNI) Altogether five candidates have filed their nomination papers for the By-Election to Pungro-Kiphire Assembly Constituency on Friday, which is the last day of filing nomination papers.
Additional Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer of Kiphire informed that the nominations are filed by Khaseo Anar from Congress party, K. Shellumthong from Independent candidate, Lirimong Sangtam from BJP, T Yangseo Sangtam from Independent candidate and Kiusumew Yimchunger from Independent candidate.

Ranchi, Oct 16 (UNI) The state government on Friday decided to launch the Sona Sobran Dhoti Saree Distribution Scheme, under which families covered under the National Food Security Act would be provided Saree and Lungi at a subsidised rate of Rs 10, twice in a year.
