Many districts of Maharashtra, including the financial capital of the country, are experiencing heavy rains from the sky. Many areas including Mumbai's Hindmata, Parel, Byculla Road were flooded. Yellow alert has been issued in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar and Red alert has been issued in Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri area. Several areas including Mumbai and Pune in Maharashtra received torrential rains on Wednesday night and the entire city was flooded with water. Mumbai and Pune have received heavy rain overnight and roads and streets have been flooded with more than their knees.
The flow of water is so fast that a man was seen flowing, but was rescued with the help of people. Water has entered people's homes in Pune and Mumbai. Like Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune are seeing a flood-like scene.
According to news agency ANI, heavy rain warning has been issued in many parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai even today. Indian Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for the entire North Konkan region including Mumbai, Thane. Due to heavy rain overnight, the speed of Mumbai has come down and people have become difficult on the roads.
