Students and parents have written a letter to Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Director General of National Testing Agency Vineet Joshi demanding an additional opportunity in JEE Mains 2021 like JEE Advanced. He says that due to the corona epidemic, the students could not even take their books. Many students were unable to take the exam due to infection.
Many other students, including Anubha Srivastava Sahay, have sent letters and emails on behalf of the India Wide Parents Association. He has said that the preparation of students has been affected due to Corona. So registered students who do not sit in JEE Advanced 2020 have an additional chance in 2021, then those who do not participate in JEE Mains 2020 should also get an opportunity. Many students have missed the last option of JEE Mains 2020 due to Corona. A student gets the opportunity to join JEE Mains three times. Students have written that transport service in many states was also not smooth. Due to this also they could not reach the examination center.
