On October 10, Assam Rifles personnel have arrested the main accused of throwing hand grenades in a temporary camp of paramilitary force. A release issued by Public Relations Officer Lt Col Sanjeev Sethi said that the accused is a member of the NSCN (K) Nikki Sumi faction. He was arrested from his home in Dimapur on Sunday. A 9 mm pistol and three cartridges have also been recovered from his possession. The accused and the weapon recovered from him have been handed over to the East Police Station in Dimapur.
