Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh tests positive for Covid-19

LUCKNOW: Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav tested positive for Covid-19 infection on Wednesday. Earlier his wife Sadhna Gupta had tested positive.
The information was shared by the party from its official twitter handle with an appeal to people to get them tested In case they had come in contact with him recently.
“He is asymptomatic but under the care of doctors,” said an official spokesperson.

Sources confirmed that Singh was undergoing covid-19 management at Medanta Gurgaon on account of his age and comorbidity factors.
They also revealed that two helpers attending the leader at home had also tested positive in addition to two other staff in the residence.
Staff at the district health officials stated that the contact tracing exercise was on.
