Prime Minister Narendra Modi will issue Rs 75 coin on Friday to mark the 75th anniversary of the Food and Agriculture Organization.
This coin is being issued keeping in mind the long-standing relationship with this organization of India. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also dedicate 17 varieties of the recently developed more nutritionally developed eight crops to the nation.
This event is proof that the government gives priority to agriculture and nutrition. Also, it shows his resolve to eradicate hunger and malnutrition.
Anganwadis, Krishi Vigyan Kendras, organic and horticulture missions across the country will witness this event. Apart from this, Agriculture Minister, Finance Minister, and Women and Child Development Minister will also be present on this occasion.
