Russia resumes flights to Serbia, Cuba, Japan - Response Center

Moscow, Oct 14 (Sputnik) Russia will resume flights to Serbia, Cuba and Japan, previously suspended amid the pandemic, the coronavirus response center said on Wednesday.
"The chairman of the Russian government, Mikhail Mishustin, signed a decree, taking into consideration decisions of the response center, on resuming air travel with the following nations: Serbia (Moscow-Belgrade), two flights weekly; Cuba (Moscow-Cayo Coco and Moscow-Santa Clara), two flights; Japan — three flights weekly starting November 1, 2020 (two Moscow-Tokyo flights and one Vladivostok-Tokyo fight)," the response center said in a statement.
Apart from that, the number of flights to Switzerland, Maldives, the United Arab Emirates and Belarus will be increased, and flights to new destinations inside these countries will be conducted, the response center added.
Russia continues its effort to expand the list of countries for resuming the air travel, the response center concluded.
