Sushant Singh Rajput Case LIVE Updates | October 14 marks the four-month death anniversary of the late actor who was found dead in his apartment on June 14. Social media accounts of Sushant's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, are not available on Instagram and Twitter. As of now, it is unclear if Shweta deleted them or they have been suspended by the social media platforms. Last night, she had urged fans to come out in support of Sushant and send messages to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of ‘Mann Ki Baat 4 SSR’ initiative seeking swift justice in the death case.

On the investigation front, actress Rhea Chakraborty, accused of abetting the suicide of her actor boyfriend Sushant, has urged the CBI to take action against her neighbour for giving “false” statements to the media to mislead the investigation in the case. In a separate instance, Kshitij Prasad, former executive producer of Dharmatic Entertainment arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with the drugs case related to the late Bollywood actor's death, has approached a special court in Mumbai for bail.

As per IANS, Shweta Singh Kirti, sister of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, deleted her Instagram and Twitter accounts on Wednesday. The day incidentally marks four months that Sushant died. Last night, Shweta had posted a video of Sushant training hard. He jogs, cycles, works out and performs other physical activities. The video also features Sushant's voiceover. "A True Inspiration #ImmortalSushant," Shweta had written as caption with the video.

The deletion of the accounts has left Sushant's fans confused. Many social media users even took to Twitter to share screenshots of the same.

"Is everything alright with @shwetasinghkirt? Her account suspended or deactivated?," a user tweeted.

It is not known yet why Shweta has deleted her accounts. However, she is still on Facebook. Sushant breathed his last on June 14 in Mumbai. While Mumbai Police initially concluded the actor had committed suicide, the case was subsequently taken up by CBI, Enforcement Directorate and Narcotics Control Bureau.

A picture was doing rounds on social media along claiming that Nigerian nationals now asking for justice for Sushant Singh Rajput. In the picture, one can see two black men and a woman, sitting on the road, holding placards that say justice for Sushant, kill nepotism and RIP Sushant. Turns out, this picture which has been shared by several individual handles on social media platforms is actually a digitally-altered image.

The ED raided Dinesh Vijan's properties in connection to the case of money laundering registered on July 31 on the basis of an FIR filed by the Bihar Police on the complaint of Sushant's father K.K. Singh. In the FIR, Singh had alleged that an amount of Rs 15 crore was transferred from the Kotak Mahindra Bank account of his son to other bank accounts who had no relations with him. The ED has questioned several people, including Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and father Indrajit.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday carried out searches at four locations linked to filmmaker Dinesh Vijan in connection with its probe into the money laundering angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. An ED source told IANS that currently the agency was carrying out searches in four locations linked to Vijan.

Vijan debuted with "Raabta" as a film director. Sushant starred along with Kirti Sanon in "Raabta", which was released in 2017. Vijan was also the co-producer of the movie. The film bombed at the box office.

Bollywood Associations, Producers File Suit Against 'Defamatory Remarks' by Select Media Houses

A civil suit has been filed before Delhi High Court by four Bollywood industry associations and 34 leading production houses, praying that the court direct two news channels and unknown defendants as well as social media platforms to refrain from making or publishing irresponsible, derogatory and defamatory remarks against the Hindi film industry as a whole and members of Bollywood. These alleged defamatory remarks came on the backdrop of Sushant Singh Rajput case and when NCB began investigating the Bollywood-drug nexus.

The questions raised by BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy are:

--Whether the AIIMS team did a postmortem on the body of Sushant or was only forming an opinion about the postmortem report done already by the doctors of Cooper Hospital.

--Was Dr Sudhir Gupta advised by higher authorities to give interviews before the AIIMS Special team report was submitted.

--Did the AIIMS team examine the evidence of destruction, the postmortem by the doctors at Cooper Hospital, and the non-sealing of the scene of the crime by the Mumbai Police.

--Was there insufficient material from a forensic medical point of view for this AIIMS team taking a definite opinion on a cause of death and will the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare consider sending the matter to the Medical Board of the Ministry.

BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy claims the Ministry of Health was not kept in loop about the AIIMS report pertaining to investigation in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. "I have finished conversing with the Health Secretary on my five questions on the alleged AIIMS Team Report which (news channel) claimed held the SSR case was according to autopsy report one of suicide. The Ministry was not kept in the loop so now I will talk to concerned specialists," Swamy tweeted on Tuesday.

She urged the late actor's fans to record and send messages to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Mann Ki Baat online portal, seeking swift justice in the death case.

Earlier this week, the Supreme Court adjourned for next week a PIL seeking a court-monitored CBI probe into the death of Sushant's former manager, Disha Salian, as the concerned lawyer could not appear online. The case has been adjourned twice due to technical glitches. The plea has contended that the deaths of Sushant and Salian are interconnected.

Meanwhile, the AIIMS panel which was looking at the forensic details of the matter has ruled out the possibility of murder in Sushant's case. An initial probe by Mumbai Police concluded the actor had committed suicide. The case is subsequently being handled by CBI, with NCB and ED joining the investigation.
