Thane: Man, his mom, sister booked for triple talaq

THANE: A man was booked, along with mother and sister, for allegedly harassing his wife, driving her out of the house and giving her triple talaq for not giving birth to a male.
The accused are from Udhana in Surat, while the victim is from Rabodi in Thane, police said. She harassed by in-laws since marriage in 2015. When she delivered girls in 2017 and 2018 her husband warned her. When she got pregnant again, the accused aborted the female fetus, she said.
The husband gave her triple talaq in the presence of his family and drove her out of the house on October 10.
