OnePlus 8T is set to launch in India on October 14 alongside a Special Edition of the OnePlus Nord, new TWS earphones and more. OnePlus 8T follows the OnePlus 7T from last year and OnePlus 8 series that was launched in April, earlier this year. OnePlus has scheduled the event online where it is expected to unveil multiple products.
OnePlus has been revealing some key features of the OnePlus 8T in the heads up to the launch, and we have an idea of what to expect from the upcoming phone. Moreover, the company has confirmed that we will get a special edition variant of the mid-range OnePlus Nord and truly-wireless earbuds as well.
How to watch OnePlus 8T launch event online?
OnePlus has scheduled the OnePlus 8T launch event from 7:30 PM IST (10:00 AM EDT) on October 14 in India. The launch event will be live-streamed online and you can watch it by tuning into the YouTube live or OnePlus website.

What to expect from OnePlus 8T launch on October 14?
OnePlus is all set to announce the successor to the 7T but it won’t be accompanied by a OnePlus 8T Pro as has been confirmed by the company. Apart from the OnePlus 8T, the company is expected to announce a OnePlus Nord special edition, OnePlus TWS earbuds and likely a OnePlus Power Bank.
Going by the previous reports, OnePlus 8T is confirmed to feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution display with a 120Hz high refresh rate. There is a punch-hole cutout in the top-left corner for the selfie camera and the screen is relatively flatter than the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro.
OnePlus 8T is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and could be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage or 12GB+256GB storage options to choose from. The phone is expected to run on OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11, out-of-the-box.
OnePlus 8T comes with a 48MP primary camera, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there could be a 16MP selfie camera that is housed in the punch-hole cutout.
OnePlus 8T is confirmed to come fitted with a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging out-of-the-box courtesy of Warp Charge 65.
