    Guar gum futures fall on low demand

    Synopsis

    Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and increased supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.

    Guar gum for November delivery decreased by Rs 36, or 0.58 per cent to Rs 6,120 per five quintal in 47,310 lots.
    New Delhi: Guar gum prices on Tuesday fell Rs 43 to Rs 6,045 per five quintal in futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with weak trend at spot market. On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for October delivery fell by Rs 43, or 0.71 per cent, to Rs 6,045 per five quintal in 3,695 lots.

    Guar gum for November delivery decreased by Rs 36, or 0.58 per cent to Rs 6,120 per five quintal in 47,310 lots.
