If you didn't know that the latest season of Indian Premier League (IPL) is underway in UAE, then you probably are living under a rock. But unlike some, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is fully aware of the latest updates, even if it means news related to the world of cricket.

And while it is a well-known fact that Bollywood and cricket are two things that have a very close connection given that several filmstars are married to cricketers or vice-versa, one would wonder why was Kareena talking about cricket or IPL in particular, all of a sudden?

Well, that's probably because her son Taimur Ali Khan has developed a liking for the gentleman's game. But it's something that shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone given that the latter's grandfather, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, was a cricketing legend himself.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Kareena, alongside side a picture of son Taimur, wrote, "Any place in the IPL? I can play too."

The little nawab was seen dressed in black pants, grey t-shirt and black-and-white sneakers while holding a full-size bat in his hand trying to play a shot. Taimur's concentration, the expression on his face and his long hair were the highlight in the photograph.

Take a look.

"Witty, cool, intelligent, bright, funny, loving, warm, supportive, pillar of the family, Innaya's mom, Saifu and Saba's sister and my beautiful sister-in-law... Happy birthday you...We love you @sakpataudi... (sic)," Kareena wrote alongside a black-and-white photo of herself holding Taimur and Soha with Inaaya.
