Acid attack on 3 Dalit sisters in Gonda

Gonda, Oct 13 (UNI) Crime against women continue to haunt the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh and now in a fresh case in Gonda district, some unidentified people threw acid on 3 Dalit sisters when they were sleeping on late Monday night.



Police said that the incident occurred at Paska village under Paraspur area when someone threw acid 3 daughters of Dalit villager Ramautar when they were sleeping on the terrace of their house.



All the three sisters, have been admitted to the district hospital where condition of one was stated to be critical.



The three sisters were identified as Kajal(17), Mahima(12) and Sonam (8). The elder sister Kajal was critically injured in the attack as her face her got burnt.



Police was investigating the case.

Total 28 nominees submit papers in MP

Bhopal, Oct 12 (UNI) Expressing gratitude to the Centre for rapidly releasing Rs 792 crore from the Compensation Cess Fund, Madhya Pradesh Commercial Tax Minister Jagdish Dewda underlined on Monday that the state is being counted among leading ones vis-à-vis filing of returns, tax collection and endeavours to forestall evasion; it was officially learnt.
Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Minister of State for Finance Anurag Singh Thakur discussed Goods and Services Tax compensation of states online during the GST Council meeting.
