A bus overturned on the N1 near Laingsburg on Tuesday.

A section of the N1 highway was closed following a bus accident some 10km outside Laingsburg in the Western Cape on Tuesday morning.
According to Netwerk24, six people were left injured and a woman was trapped under the bus.
Jandré Bakker, head of communications at the Western Cape Department of Transport and Public Works, told Netwerk24 emergency services were still active on the scene.
The cause of the accident is unknown, Bakker reportedly said.
