Srinagar, Oct 13 (UNI) The Border Security Force (BSF) and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) will conduct written test for Constable General Duty (GD) in the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir on October 18, an official spokesman said here on Tuesday.
According to the spokesman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Kupwara Nazir Ahmad Lone convened a meeting of concerned officers to finalise the arrangements for conduct of written test for the post of Constable GD in BSF and CISF.
The meeting discussed various issues to ensure smooth conduct of the test being held on October 18, 2020 from 1100 hrs to 1300 hrs at Government Degree College, Kupwara.
The meeting decided that the sanitisation and fumigation of the examination hall shall be held before time, as a preventive measure for the containment of COVID-19.
It was informed that one ambulance with a Medical officer and paramedics shall be kept available, besides uninterrupted power and water supply shall also be maintained during the examination day. The meeting also reviewed security arrangements, including anti-sabotage checks at the venue.
The meeting was informed that reporting time for candidates appearing in the said exam shall be 0800 hrs sharp. Besides, mobile phones shall not be allowed in the examination hall.
The ADC directed the concerned officers to keep close coordination among themselves and ensure smooth conduct of the examination.
Principal GDC Kupwara, Ghulam Rasool Ganie, Executive Officer Municipal Committee Kupwara, AEE Jal Shakti Department Kupwara, Senior BSF and Police Officers, besides Health Officers, attended the meeting.
