The Indian rclimbed off the day's high but were still trading in the green on Monday, ahead of the press conference of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on economic issues at 12:30 pm today.

Among headline indices, the S&P BSE Sensex gained 90 points to 40,610 levels, and the Nifty50 index hovered around the psychological level of 12,000. Earlier in the day, the broader index reclaimed 12,000 for the first time since February 24, 2020. Axis Bank, State Bank of India, ITC, and HDFC (all up 2%) were the top Sensex gainers.

On the other hand, shares of hit 10 per cent lower circuit after the company failed to receive the required number of shares to delist Limited.

The trend among Nifty sectoral indices was mixed, with Nifty Bank index, up 1 per cent, leading the list of gainers.

The broader market continued to underperform, with the S&P BSE MidCap and SmallCap indexes trading 0.3 per cent higher, each.

New listings

Shares of listed at 49 per cent premium over issue price of Rs 145 per share. Company's shares, on the other hand, listed at a discount of 11 per cent over issue price of Rs 554 per share.
 
Results today
