Coronavirus India Updates: Tally Crosses 70 Lakh; Over 1.08 Lakh Dead

Covid-19 cases in India crossed 70 lakh, climbing at the fastest pace in the world, even as the outbreak showes signs of slowing.

India added over 74,383 fresh cases in 24 hours taking the total tally to more than 70.5 lakh in Asia’s third-largest economy, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Oct. 11. This includes more than 1.08 lakh deaths and nearly 60.8 lakh who have recovered.
