The Uttar Pradesh government has given a gift to the teachers who have been waiting for their appointment for a long time. Actually, the list has been released for 31,277 posts in 69000 teacher recruitment case. These candidates will start getting appointment letters from October 16.
In this case, UP's Minister of Basic Education (Independent Charge) Dr Satish Dwivedi said that following the Supreme Court's Order, the names of 31,277 teachers were released. He said that the candidates' recruitment process whose list has been released would start from October 16. The basic Education Minister said that giving employment to the state's youth is the top priority of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. To provide quality education in the state according to the instructions of the Chief Minister, the appointment of 31,277 assistant teachers has been started by following the interim Order of Hon'ble Supreme Court under the recruitment process of 69 thousand assistant teachers.
An order passed in special license petition in Hon'ble Supreme Court, Shri Ram Sharan Maurya and others vs. Uttar Pradesh State and others dated 21.05.2020 and Special license petition passed in Shri Subedar Singh and others vs. State of Uttar Pradesh and others dated 09.06.2020 In compliance with the mandate dated September 24, 2020, and the ruling dated 06.10.2020, the action is being taken to select 31277 posts.
In the first phase, the selection and appointment of 31277 seats are being started based on merit and reservation against the total vacancies of 69000 posts, keeping the previously allocated district and reservation to the candidates against 69000 vacancies.
There are 15933 unreserved categories, 8513 other backward class, 6615 scheduled caste, and 216 scheduled tribe candidates among 31277 selected candidates. Counseling will be held in the district on 14 and 15 October 2020, and an appointment letter will be issued on October 16, 2020. Selection and appointment will be subject to the final order to be passed in the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
