Depression to intensify into deep depression in next 12 hrs, to cross North AP Coast on Oct 13 : IMD

Hyderabad, Oct 12 (UNI)The Depression over Westcentral Bay of Bengal moved west-northwestwards with a speed of 03 kmph during past 6 hours and lay centred at 0830 hrs on Monday near latitude 15.7°N and longitude 85.0°E, about 280 km southeast of Vishakhapatnam, 320 km eastsoutheast of Kakinada and 360 km east-southeast of Narsapur in Andhra Pradesh.
It is very likely to intensify further into a Deep Depression during the next 12 hours, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a bulletin.
It is very likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Andhra Pradesh coast between Narsapur & Vishakhapatnam, close to Kakinada during the early morning of October 13, the bulletin added.
