CISF personnel saves a passenger’s life by giving CPR in Delhi Metro

New Delhi, Oct 12 (UNI) The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Sunday saved a passenger’s life by giving Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at Ghitorni metro station in Delhi, Force officials said here on Monday.

According to CISF, around 1845 hrs on October 11, a passenger A M Seikh, 32, was suddenly felt chest pain and fell down in paid area near security check point of Ghitorni metro station.

“Constable Manoj Kumar of CISF, deployed there immediately rushed to the passenger and found that he was unconscious and not breathing. Without losing any time, he started giving CPR to the passenger observing all precautionary measures”, the CISF said.

Thereafter, the passenger regained his senses and thanked the Force for saving his life.

Encouraged by the response to Gaumaya Ganesha campaign, in which the cow-dung or Panchgavya was used extensively in products during Ganesh Chaturthi, the RKA has started a nationwide campaign to celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali, with the help of cow-dung products, said RKA Chairman Vallabhbhai Kathiria.
