Himachal CM tests positive for COVID-19

Shimla, Oct 12 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Monday said that he has tested positive for novel coronavirus.

"A few days ago, after coming in contact with a corona positive person, I was under quarantine at my residence for the past one week. But as I was having COVID symptoms for the last two days, I got a corona test done today, which has turned out to be positive", the Chief Minister informed through Twitter.

The 55-year-old leader further said that he has isolated himself at his official residence on the advice of doctors.

Srinagar, Oct 12 (UNI) J&K Police chief on Monday said that as many as 180 militants, including top commanders of different outfits, were killed in 75 successful operations conducted by security forces while 55 personnel were martyred during the last over nine months in Kashmir valley.
