BJP expels 9 senior rebel leaders

Patna, Oct 12 (UNI) Taking tough stand against the rebel activities, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) today expelled it's nine senior leaders including state vice president Rajendra Singh for six years from the party for contesting against National Democratic Alliance ( NDA) candidates in Bihar assembly election and maligning the image of the party.
Frustrated with denial of party ticket in the current assembly election several senior leaders of BJP recently joined Lok Janshakti Party ( LJP) which snapped its ties with NDA opposing another constituent unit of the alliance, Janata Dal (U) . L JP has fielded the rebel leaders for contesting assembly election.
The rebel BJP leaders who were are in the fray from LJP include Rajendra Singh from Dinara, Rameshwar Chaurasia from Sasaram, Dr Usha Vidyarthi from Paliganj, Ravindra Yadav from Jhajha, Shweta Singh from Sandesh, Indu Kashyap from Jehanabad, Anil Kumar from Patna Rural, Mrinal Shekhar from Amarpur and Ajay Pratap from Jamui.
Taking strong cognizance of the rebel activities of the senior leaders BJP state president Dr Sanjay Jaiswal today said that such activities of the senior leaders were aimed at tarnishing the image of the party which expelled them.
All these Rebel leaders were contesting against the Janata Dal ( U).
