Bihar Election: BJP will have to face difficulty to hold back rebels, in Kosi-Seemanchal will try to win seats on JDU's account

Rebellion is set in BJP Bihar BJP President Sanjay Jaiswal may have warned the party rebels, but its impact on the ground is difficult to see. In Seemanchal and Kosi region alone, two and a half dozen party leaders are preparing to contest the seats which have gone to the JDU's share under the agreement.

The first option of these rebel leaders is LJP. Clearly, this may dent the relationship between BJP and JDU. The problem arose during the last Lok Sabha elections in Seemanchal and Kosi. The party gave all the seats to the JDU except the Araria Lok Sabha seat in the region, while the BJP has an old and strong base in districts like Katihar, Purnia, Bhagalpur, Kishanganj.

Since the seats of these areas went to JDU in the Lok Sabha elections, many seats with BJP influence in the assembly elections also went to JDU. Earlier, MLAs or ticket contenders are extremely upset with the party leadership. In the Lok Sabha elections, the central leadership of the BJP had started to revolt with great difficulty.

Two and a half dozen leaders are in contact with LJP

Seats have been distributed for Seemanchal and Kosi areas. More than two and a half dozen BJP leaders from these two areas are in touch with LJP. BJP state leadership has failed to convince the rebels in Kadihar's Kadwa, Bari, Manihari, Balrampur, Kishanganj's Thakurganj, Purnia's Amaur, Dhamdaha, Madhepura's Biharganj, Sinheswar, Madhepura, Saharsa's Mahishi, Sonvarsha seat. Similarly, BJP rebels have started campaigning on JDU quota seats in Bhagalpur, Khagaria, Darbhanga, and Madhubani.

Sourness may increase

JDU is already upset with LJP's electoral strategy against BJP with Nitish. JDU is continuously demanding to control and take action on the rebels. There is already a discussion in the political corridor that BJP is resorting to LJP to weaken Nitish. In such a situation, if the rebels do not agree even after disciplinary action, then there is a possibility of sour relations in the relationship between the two parties.

Rebellion on these seats due to shuffle

This time BJP has given a ticket to Rajesh Singh from Mohiuddin Nagar. The last time he contested independent elections from this seat. Satyendra Singh has got a ticket from Fatuha, he has contested the last time on the LJP ticket. Sheel Kumar Rai of Ujiarpur has contested elections before but got a ticket from BJP for the first time.

Surendra Mehta has been fielded for the first time from Bachwara. The last time he was an MLA from Begusarai. This time his seat has changed and Kundan Singh from Begusarai has been given a ticket for the first time. From Maner, BJP came to the BJP party about two years ago and gave a ticket to spokesperson Nikhil Anand.

From Bhagalpur, BJP has fielded District President Rohit Pandey for the first time, while Mantu Singh, former JDU MLA from Amanore, has been given BJP ticket for the first time. This seat has gone to BJP's account this time and he left JDU and joined BJP a few days ago.

This seat has been given to them by cutting the ticket of BJP's current MLA Choker Baba alias Shatrughan Tiwari. This time they are contesting independent elections, a rebel from BJP. Former MP from Siwan, Omprakash Yadav is contesting the election, he is contesting the election of MLA for the first time.

Earlier, he was an MP from here, but his ticket was cut due to this seat being shifted to the JDU quota. Karanjit Singh has been made the candidate for the first time by the BJP from Darundha. Earlier, he had contested the independent elections here. For the first time, Avadhesh Singh has got a ticket from Hajipur, he is the nephew of former minister Vrishin Patel.
