Odisha Plus III admission dateline extended

BHUBANESWAR: The higher education department on Monday extended admission dates of Plus III first year (undergraduate). Merit list of first round selection of candidates was published on September 28.
According to the notification, students who have taken admission in the first round selection will deposit admission fees online by October 16. Online admission updation of students selected in first merit list by October 17.
If a student wants to take admission in his/her choice of higher option college, he/she has to fill up an online Slide-Up form to get this facility. Previously, students were getting auto slide-up facility. This form should be submitted by October 17. Final admission data will be updated on the same date in the e-space of the student who took admission in the first selection.
Similarly, the second round selection list will be declared on October 22 instead of October 13. Students will deposit admission fees online between October 22 and October 29. Online admission and data updation will be carried out between October 27 and November 3.
This year, around 2.13 lakh students have applied online for admission in degree colleges across the state. Out of this, 2,11,680 students have paid fees online. A total of 1,58,540 students have been selected in the first round.
